Throwing yourself into anything unprepared/unplanned is possibly allowing more mistakes than necessary though. If you can catch a lot before making them, all the better. But this takes extra effort and ain't foolproof, so I think people get turned off and decide to wing it. And experience is still the best teacher, as long as you're granted permission to get the experience in the first place. If all your leaders/managers suck, how do you learn anything right/wrong firsthand? Reminds of all the stupid ads for entry-level jobs that still ask for some years of actual work experience. I'm always under somebody else's foot and I don't kiss ass, so there's no hope for me unless I find a way to break away entirely…haven't yet kek.

Good night, good morning, and good afternoon, anons.
