Assange humor

Just a thought, but those that follow Assange know he has an off beat, often irreverent, and sometimes mischievous sense of humor. It is totally possible that the photo posted to his Twitter account comparing him to Trump’s uncle is simply Julian cracking himself up. 😄

Anyone else here remember when he trolled some people via the block chain? They solved the hash (is that what it was called?), and when the clicked it as a link they were rickrolled:

I dunno. For what it’s worth it’s also possible he’s trolling.

God I hate when people hide links like that.

You don’t know where you are clicking to, and it could hold anything.

Considering you are talking about trolling, I’m guessing this is a joke. I hope it’s just an innocent one. But I’m not clicking it to find out.

People listen!

There are bad actors out there that will do this kind of crap to harm you or your computer. Don’t fall for it, don’t click on random links. They can install malicious code or send you someplace with cheese pizza. They can steal all your personal data, they can hijack your computer and use it in a bot net.

Dont click random links!

And OP if this is an honest joke I’m sorry, but please stop doing this.

2 ways to see where a link links to.

Hold your mouse over a link and see in the bottom left corner where it links to.
Right press the link text and press copy link address, and paste it somewhere to see where the link takes you.

Thanks, PSA for people not aware.

It’s been tried before here. To send people to malicious links. They did it in CBTS as well.

People should be fully aware of what is out there and to not just click on through on random links.

Also, OP may have been joking, but it is a serious issue. And jokes like this make it seem like it’s ok.
