Make your own potato chips. Use a big straight edged skilled. Put an inch of oil in and heat to 350. Peal potato. Then when oil is ready use your potato peeler as a slicer over the hot oil. Make only one layer at a time. If you are going to eat them right away just let the sides brown with white in the middle. Fantastic.

 

If you want to make a batch to keep for 5-7 days let the frying chips brown.
