A false bomb alert this morning has led to a gate closure at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam after a military working dog responded to a contractor’s vehicle entering the base at the Halawa Gate.

Multiple agencies responded to the apparent threat, but a Navy press release said that “nothing of concern was found by (explosive ordinance disposal ) personnel, and the scene was declared clear at 9 :30 a.m.”
