I've carefully reviewed today's DC circuit opinion upholding Judge Chutkan's extremist decision to undo our constitutional system of government by allowing the unprecedented prosecution of @realDonaldTrump for official acts as President of the United States. Today's rushed and panicked appellate decision is another nakedly political act that seemsprimarily designed to ensure that Joe Biden's appointees can jail his political opponent before the election. This comes ahead of Thursday when the US Supreme Court is supposed to review the Colorado ballot removal case, which claims Trump should be removed from the ballot over Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is touting his new online shopping platform, where he says "entrepreneurs" can sell products without fear of being "copied by China."

 

Lindell told Newsweek over the phone on Tuesday night that his MyStore site was "like a mini-Amazon with USA entrepreneurs and products," while acknowledging that it was "much smaller" than the online retail behemoth.

 

During an appearance on the War Room podcast of Steve Bannon, ex-adviser to former President Donald Trump, Lindell said earlier on Tuesday that the store would be selling "every kind of product that you can imagine."

 

Bannon praised Lindell for being "so sophisticated" by launching the platform, before suggesting that Amazon's Marketplace allowed sellers to "put their product up and then be ripped off by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party)."

 

"Yeah that's right, Steve," Lindell responded. "Back when I invented MyPillow, I had the same problem all the entrepreneurs have in our country: You get put up on Amazon … and then the next thing … they are [being] copied by China."

 

"Basically, it's theft of your product," he continued. "So what we've done over the last three years, my team here and others, they've vetted entrepreneurs and USA-made products, and now we have a platform [that] has thousands and thousands of products."

 

Lindell told Newsweek that the store had been in the works for an extended period but was only now having its "big launch" because he was previously too "busy with trying to get rid of electronic voting machines."

 

He said that MyStore differs from Amazon Marketplace because it does not "allow the copycats and the made-in-China products." In the event of products sold on the site being "stolen" by China off platform, Lindell said, he would offer legal help to sellers.

 

He added that the vetting process of his platform had been beefed up to include a team of eight to 10 people after it was discovered that "a lot of people were trying to sneak in" to sell Chinese-made products.

 

MyStore includes a special section that features "Mike's Likes"—products that Lindell personally endorses, although he told Newsweek that the section had not recently been updated.

 

At the time of publication, products in the endorsement section included tick removers, multiple "NoStench" products, meat sticks and a "temporary tooth replacement kit."

 

Meanwhile, advertisements for MyPillow returned to Fox News earlier on Tuesday after having been dropped for roughly one month. During a War Room appearance last month, Lindell claimed that "cancel culture" was to blame for the absence.

 

However, Fox News said at the time that the ads were dropped because MyPillow had failed to keep up with its bills, with a Fox News spokesperson telling Newsweek that the network would be "happy to accept their advertising" as soon as the "account is paid."

Translation of information. The translators must not only translate a text from one language to another, but must also master tools in order to be selective in translations based on information from reports.

Decryption of aerial images. This involves interpreting aerial information and turning it into maps.

Electronics technician. This includes the establishment of verification systems, manufacture of electronic cards, construction of secure computer terminals, and more.

The corps also has an elite unit, Sayeret Matkal. It is considered the best combat unit in the Israeli army and one of the best special forces units in the world. Russia Releases $9M In Frozen N.Korean Assets, Alleged To Be Helping Kim Skirt UN Sanctions

 

Russia-North Korea ties have continued to deepen amid the backdrop of the Ukraine war and corresponding US-led sanctions. Already it's believed Pyongyang has provided Russia with huge shipments of missies and ammunition, especially artillery, likely shipped by train.

 

The New York Times reports Tuesday that the Russian government has released $9 million in frozen North Korean assets, following Kim Jong-Un's delivering on arms for Moscow. While the Russian bank which cleared the release hasn't been named, it's believed to be $9 million out of a total $30 million which was frozen.

 

The move is likely part of broader efforts to implement Pyongyang's ultimate 'wish list' of lasting methods and banking ties to skirt UN sanctions, imposed over past banned nuclear weapons testing.

 

The NY Times writes, "In addition, a North Korean front company recently opened an account at another Russian bank, the intelligence officials say, evidence that Moscow may be helping Pyongyang get around U.N. sanctions that prohibit most banks from doing business with North Korea."

 

North Korea has for years been almost completely isolated from the international banking system, and has been lashing out of late in response to increased US military drills on the peninsula, conducting missile tests on a near weekly basis.

 

"The new bank account is held in South Ossetia, a self-proclaimed independent state in the Caucasus region that has close connections with Russia, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence matters," the Times continues.

 

Moscow is still expected to move cautiously and not be too brazen over how it helps North Korea given it is a permanent member of the UN Security Council. On this point, the NYT report observes:

 

For Russia, the financial transactions may be more palatable than supplying military expertise and nuclear and other technology.

 

Even though the two countries "could be friends with benefits now," said Soo Kim, a former C.I.A. analyst on North Korea, their trust is not so great that Russia would "give away its valued secrets."

 

Back in September, Kim Jong Un met with President Vladimir Putin in the far eastern city of Vladivostok, and even toured weapons and satellite facilities.

 

Kim had issued statements at the time signaling enthusiastic backing for Russia's resistance to NATO in the context of the war in Ukriane. "We are confident that the Russian army and people will win a great victory in the just fight to punish evil groups who pursue hegemony, expansion, and ambition," Kim had said.

New Report Reveals Federal Gov't "Funds Domestic Censorship Superweapons" Against Taxpayers

 

A new report reveals more details about how the Biden administration is plowing millions of dollars of taxpayer funds into woke universities and private firms to fund the "Censorship Industrial Complex."

 

During the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government hearing on Tuesday morning, Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) reporter Katelynn Richardson detailed how the federal government used taxpayer dollars to fund numerous projects that censored anyone with a non-government-approved view.

 

"The effort fits within the broader trend of the federal government's increasing involvement in online censorship, from the Center for Disease Control flagging posts during COVID-19 to the FBI working with social media companies to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story," Richardson said.

 

According to a November Foundation for Freedom Online report, the National Science Foundation (NSF) spent $38.8 million on "misinformation" funding efforts since Biden took office in 2021. However, the DCNF found that NSF spent a lot more to target so-called misinformation.

 

"The NSF swears it does not engage in censorship and that it does not partner directly with social media platforms," Richardson said, adding, "But taxpayer dollars spent on projects that do are still troubling, as were the agency's responses to straightforward questions about its programs."

 

Ahead of the hearing, the Judiciary Committee and Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released a report titled "The Weaponization Of The National Science Foundation: How NSF Is Funding The Development Of Automated Tools To Censor Online Speech "At Scale" And Trying To Cover Up."

 

"This interim report details the National Science Foundation's (NSF) funding of AI-powered censorship and propaganda tools and its repeated efforts to hide its actions and avoid political and media scrutiny," the report said.

 

The report continued: "In the name of combatting alleged misinformation regarding COVID-19 and the 2020 election, NSF has been issuing multi-million-dollar grants to university and non-profit research teams. The purpose of these taxpayer-funded projects is to develop artificial intelligence (AI)- powered censorship and propaganda tools that can be used by governments and Big Tech to shape public opinion by restricting certain viewpoints or promoting others."

Nimarata ‘Nikki’ Haley might get a meaningless boost to her meaningless campaign on Tuesday, as the results come from a Nevada primary labeled “the most confusing and significant debacle… ever seen in Republican politics” by local GOP committeeman Will Bradley. Besides Mike Pence and Tim Scott, who have already dropped out, Haley is the only candidate with any name recognition on the ballot. And she’s going to try and claim a victory on Tuesday night. “But wait!” I hear you cry. “The primary is on Thursday, and Donald Trump has quite a lot of name recognition!” That’s the problem in Nevada this cycle. If you’re thinking of Thursday, you’re thinking of the state party caucus, not the state-run primary. And that’s where Donald Trump is competing, alongside his only challenger, Texas businessman Ryan Binkley. “If we can get 5 or 10 percent, get a delegate or two, come out here and get some national attention, that’s really our goal,” Binkley told 2 News Nevada, as if anyone cares.

 

HOW?

 

The Nevada GOP’s conundrum bizarrely emerged from the left’s obsession with maintaining its ability to cheat and, indeed, its inability to run its own election securely, likely as a result of the former. Historically, Nevada does caucuses. But in 2021, the Democrat-run state legislature rammed through a law signed by outgoing governor Steve Sisolak. The bill attempted to take the process out of the hands of the respective parties and hand it to the state, replete with mail-in ballots, no voter ID, and a process riddled with confusion. The GOP, however, refused to take part. Well, apart from Tim Scott, Mike Pence, and Nikki Haley, all of whom have a track record of siding with Democrats. You know it’s really bad because election lawfare activist Marc Elias is pissed about the GOP handling their own affairs without the input of the government. “Republicans will stop at nothing to instill doubt in the electoral process and disenfranchise voters, even their own,” an article on Elias’s Democrat Docket website reads. “The caucus and primary divide offers a tale of two elections. For those who participate in the state-run primary, voters are able to vote early and by mail, register to vote on Election Day and vote without a photo ID if the voter does not register on the same day. In stark contrast, the GOP caucus will not have early voting or allow for mail-in voting. Instead, the caucus will impose a strict photo ID requirement, and will likely require caucus goers to partake in an hours-long process.” The choice couldn’t be more stark, and the fact that Haley is on the side of Nevada Democrats, Steve Sisolak, and Marc Elias should tell any waiverers just about everything they need to know about her and her campaign. So here’s what the Republican Primary ballot looks like, for Tuesday, February 6th, 2024:

In a craven attempt to confuse the situation, Haley will doubtless claim “victory” on Tuesday night. This, despite the fact that because the GOP is not formally involved, the “primary” is actually non-binding. In other words, even if she walks away the victor on Tuesday night, Haley will win precisely zero delegates. Instead, the delegates will be bound by the caucus, two days later, on Thursday. It’s widely expected that Trump walks away from this process with all the delegates, unscathed in yet another state. But for those not paying super close attention, Haley will try and feign success within a 48-hour news cycle, pumping out e-mails, texts, and fundraisers claiming to have “won” in Nevada, while maintaining that her victory is being “stolen” from her by the “rigged” process. Locals happen to be unimpressed with her ploy. Jim DeGraffenreid, of the state party, told ABC News he was “very surprised” about Haley picking the Democrat-endorsed primary, rather than the GOP caucus. “I felt like she was still planning to be competitive,” DeGraffenreid said, adding, “I think I was most surprised that she chose to forego delegates here.” So “see you next Tuesday,” Nimrata. But it won’t mean squat.

The sixty-sixth annual Grammy Awards drew only 16.9 million viewers “across CBS, Paramount+ and other digital platforms, according to early data from Nielsen,” reports the far-left Deadline.

 

While this is a 34 percent improvement from 2023, until the arrogant, smug, preachy Woke Gestapo era began in 2017 with the election of President Donald Trump, the Grammy Awards averaged around 25 million viewers for nearly a decade without breaking a sweat.

 

Of course, back in the glorious eighties, when we were buried in superstars and awesomely awesome music, closer to 30 million would tune in.

 

“Much like the CBS-hosted Golden Globes,” reports Deadline, “this is a positive sign for award shows, which largely have struggled to bounce back to pre-pandemic numbers.”

 

Overall, Music’s Biggest Night has seen a nice boost over the past several years after bringing in just 8.93M viewers two years ago and had failed to grow meaningfully year-over-year from 2021 to 2022.

 

The 2021 show marked the Grammy’s least-watched iteration ever, though to be fair it was one of the first in-person live TV events during the pandemic and was a scaled-down affair with no audience. And it wasn’t the only awards show to see its audience take a nosedive during that time.

 

The “pandemic” wink-wink.

 

It’s no secret as to why the Grammys earned 26 million viewers in 2017 and then collapsed to fewer than ten million in 2021 and 2022. Just like the rest of the entertainment world, what used to be a unifying few hours of the year’s best music turned into HateFest against half the country. Trump’s election exposed all the intolerance, fascism, entitlement, and snobbery in the entertainment world. America didn’t like what it saw and found better things to do.

 

The same is true for the Emmys, Oscars, Golden Globes… Hollywood hates normal people, and in a world filled with other entertainment options, we enjoy those other entertainment options.

 

It’s not necessarily a bad thing that our culture has become atomized. Before the mass media that began with radio, an atomized culture defined human existence. No central controlling authority told us how to speak or what to wear, watch, read, or listen to. You would think people would prefer that — the space and time to come up with their own ideas about things, but there’s just something about running in packs that appeal to human nature, so mass media had its way with us for the better part of a century.

 

Hopefully, that’s all coming to an end. Sure, we’re all plugged into the mainframe of the Internet, but within that mainframe, more and more of us are doing our own things, which is a long way from the world I grew up in, the one where the world was hooked into only a handful of news and entertainment sources. This wasn’t a bad thing back then. The product coming out of Hollywood was still normal, as opposed to what it is today: perverted, hateful, divisive, and smug.

 

Another great thing about the Internet is that we do not have to suffer through the full Grammy show or any of these awful award shows to see something almost extinct in popular culture today: a moment of unifying grace.

Drew McKissick says Nikki Haley must consider whether staying in race past South Carolina will alienate voters.

The chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party tells Just the News he expects Donald Trump to emerge from his state's primary later this month with a perfect 4-0 record to start the 2024 election season, and he is cautioning Nikki Haley she soon will have to weigh whether staying in the race will alienate voters.

 

Drew McKissick, who also serves as Republican National Committee co-chairman, said he believes recent polling showing Trump up at least 26 points in his state on Haley, a former South Carolina governor, will hold true when GOP voters go to the polls on Feb. 24.

 

Trump has already won the opening contests in Iowa and New Hampshire by double digits and is assured of winning Nevada since he is the lone candidate on the GOP ballot for the caucuses that will award that state's delegates later this week.

 

"Well, you know, I think what we've seen so far, is that the polls had been fairly accurate," McKissick said during an interview on the Just the News, No Noise television show. "…When you look at the polls down here, just based on, you know, anecdotal evidence and conversations I've had organization I've seen on the ground, you know, again, I think the polls have been fairly accurate, and it would not shock me to see that those to be accurate again."

 

McKissick said Haley is running out of time.

 

"You have to wonder at a certain point, is this a play for four years from now? That's, you know, basically trying to build up a support for that. Or is it, you know, they want to continue now. They think they have a shot. I mean, at some point, this is about delegates. I mean, the end of the day, you don't become the nominee unless you win a majority of the delegates to the convention.

 

"And after this week Donald Trump will be 3-0 as far as the contests relating to delegates. He will win all the delegates over in Nevada. And then we've got South Carolina where the winner takes all from here. You get one more vote than anybody else and win all 50 of our delegates," he added. "You know, it looks like he will be 4-0 most likely after South Carolina."

 

McKissick said Haley will soon have to weigh the consequences of staying in the race against such long odds, especially if she loses her home state.

 

"It makes things impractical. And that's the question they're going to have to deal with: how far do they go and potentially risk maybe alienating voters that they might like to speak to four years from now?There's gonna be another campaign in the future. So that's a question they're gonna have to deal with fairly soon."

 

McKissick said he also expects the RNC will face changes after the South Carolina primary should Trump win. The RNC chief of staff Mike Reed announced Tuesday he will be stepping down next month and reports also surfaced that Ronna McDaniel will resign as chairwoman later this months as well, clearing the way for Trump's team to install its own team at the RNC for the general election.

 

"I believe the point has been put out there that we'll address this more directly after the South Carolina primary. So I expect to see that," McKissick said. "And I expect to see a strong national unified organization, which quite frankly is what we're going to need to beat an incumbent president."
