The “Wailing Wall”…the remains of the temple?

You may have heard that the “Wailing Wall”, or the Western Wall, is what remains of the second temple that was around when Yeshua came, and has been a source of conflict for many years. However is this true? or have we been deceived into believing such?

The “Wailing Wall” is actually the Western Wall of Fort Antonia. The true Temple was located over the Gihon Spring on the southeast ridge of Jerusalem in the city of David.

Those who claim that the Western wall is that of the Temple, or that the temple mount is where the Holy of Holies was, are gravely mistaken, and calling Yeshua a liar, as Yeshua prophesied that the Temple would be completely thrown down:

Below, are two pictures that go over the correct dimensions, and layout of the Fortress Antonia, as well as the Temple, from the dimensions and descriptions that Josephus gave, he also states the following concerning the destruction of the temple from 70AD: (picrel)

In Book 7, Ch. 1 of ‘The Wars of the Jews’, Josephus writes,” Caesar gave orders that they should now demolish the entire city and temple, but should leave as many towers standing as were the greatest eminency….”

If you notice where the Praetorium is, that is currently where the Dome of the Rock is, and directly beneath is a large oblong shaped rock, that would not have been suitable for the Temple to be. Also, the Temple had to have fresh water nearby, and so was over the Gihon spring. Also, according to Acts 21, you can see in the diagram where Paul would have stood on the steps in between the Temple and the Fortress, where those in the Fortress claimed to be able to look down into the temple courts.

The diagram that they have at the Jewish museum depicts a much smaller fortress, only to hold about 300-600 men, however, the Fortress Antonia was to hold a legion, which was equivalent to a small city, and hold 6,000 men.

I have also come across an interesting documentary done by Bob Cornuke in 2017, that explores archaeological evidence to support that the temple was over a natural water source being the Gihon Spring, in the city of David.

Moscow concert hall terror attack suspects brought before court (VIDEOS)

Four Tajik men apprehended after Friday’s massacre have been led in to face a judge amid tight security

A Moscow court convened late on Sunday to hear prosecutors' demands on pre-trial detention for a group of men detained in the aftermath of Friday’s Crocus City Hall attack, which claimed lives of over 130 people.

The suspects, all of whom are nationals of Tajikistan, appeared individually. Thus far, terrorism charges have been levelled against 32-year-old Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, who faces a life sentence if found guilty. Prosecutors told Judge Timur Vakhrameev that the suspect had admitted his guilt.

The court has opted to rule behind closed doors.

Footage from the scene shows the suspect confined to a glass cage in the courtroom.

Mirzoyev, a father of four, has been placed in two-month pre-trial detention, which is standard practice in Russia for cases of this nature.

The second man, Saidakrami Rachabalizod, has also reportedly pleaded guilty. The father ofone appeared with his right ear bandaged, having sustained an injury during his arrest. He has also been remanded in custody for two months.

The court has also received petitions for the arrest of two more defendants – Muhammadsobir Fayzov and Shamsidin Fariduni. They too will remain in custody until May 22, the court said.

Death toll in Moscow terrorist attack rises to 137

The Russian Investigative Committee has confirmed that the search operation is continuing

Friday’s terrorist attack at a Moscow concert hall claimed at least 137 lives, according to an update from Russia’s Investigative Committee. The search for bodies is continuing as of Sunday in the part of the complex that burned down in a massive fire.

A group of gunmen stormed Crocus City Hall on the evening of March 22, just before a concert by the rock band Picnic. The venue, which has an estimated capacity of 7,500, was almost full. The terrorists killed the guards, opened fire on visitors, and then started a blaze, which quickly spread through the building.

According to investigators, three children are among the fatalities, and a total of 62 bodies have been identified so far. Also, health officials have reported that at least 180 other people were injured in the atrocity.

“Four sets of combat ammunition, with more than 500 bullets and 28 magazines, and two Kalashnikov assault rifles, which the attackers were armed with, were confiscated from the scene of the tragedy,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement released on Sunday.

Officials added that a Makarov pistol and a magazine from a Kalashnikov assault rifle were found in a car, which the attackers used to escape.

Four men believed to be directly involved in the terrorist attack were detained on Saturday in Bryansk Region, not far from the border with Ukraine. In total, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) hasreported the capture of 11 suspects so far.

House Bill 287

A bill House Democrats describe as “ common sense eviction reform ” passed the state House on Wednesday.

State Rep. Rick Krajewski (D-Philadelphia), a sponsor of the bill, said that Philadelphia is the only county in the state that relies on a private entity to enforce most of its evictions.

He cited multiple shootings in Philadelphia in 2023 that occurred during the eviction process. The legislation would create an eviction advisory board to provide oversight and accountability to evictions in Philadelphia, require a behavioral health professional to be available during an eviction lockout, and ensure that the proper date and time is given to a tenant prior to an eviction, with the goal of preventing “surprise lockouts that are a higher risk of violent confrontation,” Krajewski said.

“It’s become clear that it is time for a significant overhaul of our eviction process in Philadelphia,” Krajewski said, “to ensure in the course of an eviction process is also balanced with dignity, humanity and compassion.”

A co-sponsorship memo lists the statewide standards to also include “comprehensive eviction proceeding training,” and “public accountability and transparency,” for the bill.

The legislation passed along party lines, 102-99 .

Microsoft and Jeff Bezos are backing this start-up that aims to retrofit millions of old buildings with ‘green’ energy

In a four-story apartment building in Brooklyn, New York, a very small company is implementing a very big idea: Electrify every building in the United States by leasing landlords the necessary equipment to make the transition.

BlocPower is a Brooklyn-based start-up that has “greened” more than 1,200 buildings in New York City and has similar projects in two dozen other cities. It uses a lease-to-own platform, offering landlords and homeowners green heating and cooling systems, electric appliances and solar panels. It installs the equipment and manages its upkeep. Landlords make monthly payments that cover those costs and offer returns to investors.

The company reports it has reduced building energy costs by 30% to 50% and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 40% to 70% in current projects. It says it can reduce U.S. greenhouse gases up to 25% in 10 years and recapture up to 30% of the millions of dollars in wasted energy spent.

“I know what’s inside these buildings, right? And therefore I can see the investment opportunity,” said BlocPower CEO Donnel Baird, who grew up in Brooklyn. “My job as a CEO is to make it transparent to potential climate investors.”

“We’re going to decrease the amount of oil and gas and fossil fuels that these buildings consume, decrease the amount of emissions that are created,” Baird said. “We’re going to save the building owners money, and hey, you’re actually going to make 10% financial returns by investing in these buildings.”

In the Brooklyn building’s basement, Baird made his way through a web of old wiring and outdated systems that were being pulled out, including ancient boilers and carbon-emitting gas lines.

“We look at this and we say, my God, like what a great opportunity to save the planet and make a little bit of money by focusing on what’s down here, right?” Baird said.

BlocPower leases the equipment for about 10 or 15 years, and after enough money has been taken in to pay back investors and for BlocPower to collect its fees, the ownership of the equipment is transferred to the building owner.

The company is behind the first plan by a U.S. city — Ithaca, New York — to be entirely net zero by 2030. It’s starting with the city’s building stock.

“When we started working together towards developing this program, we realized that this is possible,” said Luis Aguirre-Torres, sustainability director for the city of Ithaca. “You know, it’s not only about being the first city in America, in the entire planet to fully decarbonize. It is really is about showing that it is possible.”

“If you work in climate change, you think this is possible; you are always thinking about ways in which you can actually make a dent on this,” Aguirre-Torres said. “And the reality is that the technology wasn’t there a few years ago and the financial innovation that was required wasn’t there a few years ago.”

Early BlocPower backers included Andreessen Horowitz, Exelon, American Family Insurance, the Schmidt Family Foundation, Goldman Sachs Urban Investment, Kapor Capital and Salesforce. Then in January it got a big debt infusion from Microsoft, bringing its total funding to about $100 million. It also just got a $5 million grant from the Bezos Earth Fund to digitally map about 125 million buildings across America so that each one of those buildings will have a free plan for how to become environmentally sustainable.

The company is now negotiating with several cities in California, New York, Massachusetts and Georgia to decarbonize.

The French leader is said to be “totally freaked out by the Russians” amid his own efforts to antagonize Moscow

French president Emmanuel Macron's concerns for his own personal safety are being amplified by his public statements and tough stance on the Ukraine conflict, Marianne magazine reported on Sunday.

The magazine spoke to multiple sources within Macron’s security detail, the country’s Interior Ministry, and tohis notorious ex-bodyguard Alexandre Benalla. During his time with Macron’s security team,Benalla became embroiled in multiple scandals, including beating up demonstrators alongside riot police during the Yellow Vest protests.

Macron has always been concerned with his personal security, Benalla claimed, revealingthe president had bolstered the ranksof his guard right after assuming office.

“As soon as we arrived at the Elysee, the staff responsible for thepresident’s security were immediately doubledcompared to those responsible for that of [predecessor] Francois Hollande,” the disgraced bodyguard explained.

The Yellow Vests protests, which have plagued Macron’s presidency throughout his first term and beyond, have left a dent. Israel's foreign minister has summoned the Turkish envoy “for a serious reprimand” over President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s verbal attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Diplomatic tensions between the countries have escalated since the Hamas-Israel conflict broke out last year. The Turkish leader has been among the harshest critics of Israel over the Gaza war.

In a post on X on Friday, Israel’s top diplomat said he had instructed Foreign Ministry officials “to summon the Turkish deputy ambassador to Israel” following Erdogan’s recent “threats to send PM Netanyahu to Allah.” Türkiye withdrew its ambassador from Israel last November, in protest at Israel’s bombardment of Gaza.
