Missouri attorney general accused of racial bias for pinning student fight on diversity program(Why aren't school officials bending over backwards to address the violence against a student, instead of disputing with the AG over "bias"? The Civil Rights Act of 1964, whether good or bad law, is law-meaning DEI or whatevs is unlawful if the school gets Federal funding, or am I wrong here?)

Just a" hmmm…." going on here for me. Why would parents send their children to schools (of whatever demographics) if they might get beaten to a pulp? The AG seems to be addressing what might be in his purview to address. Why go after him for that? Declining enrollment seems to be the result when people cannot get their children a safe education that doesn't conflict with things like their religious and family values. They will not enroll their children in schools like that. Whatever the demographics of the remaining children they will be consigned to substandard marxist indoctrination unless something big changes.

Related to the above: Some Missouri counties are moving to freeze senior property taxes. Property taxes are a major revenue source for schools. If the schools aren't doing what the parents and grandparents want, why would they want to pay for them?

Wow I wrote so much text (Now you don't have to tell me.).

I hope anons will look at the possibly interconnected stories.

Basically crappy DEI and etc. schools will lose students and people won't want to pay for them.

I think all that marxist and discriminatory garbage is against the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Pic related.

What’s happening with all the closed school buildings around the state?

(story from 11/23)

Polis opposes charter school accountability bill

Quote: "Charter schools are popular, and they continue to grow in Colorado. Last school year, Colorado had nearly 270 charter schools, and nearly 138,000 students attended them — more than double the number of students from 15 years ago."

Lots of empty school buildings, but charter enrollment continues to grow? What is wrong with regular public schools?
