Those in the Judicial branch of our government, which includes Law Enforcement, should be held to higher standards, when it comes to Common Law. I've heard the phrase "ignorance of the law is no excuse" many times in my life, mostly in Family Court, but that goes both ways. Abuse of the law, knowingly, is farworsethan not understanding a legal system, which is convoluted by design, to ensure the Legal profession's place in the hierarchy.
