I have heard of something like that. On that aspects, Japan is slightly better, only slightly.
But the reporters are exposed the similar kind of the threat in anywhere.
As you may know, Laura Poitras, a Film maker and one of the Snowden document reporter once put
DHS checked all her lagguages and asked a long list of questionaries every single time she flights back to U.S airport.
But she added, by starting to expose what she has been done by the government clearly,
harassment ceased. I learnt her lesson.
