I’m new here, but I haven’t seen much concern or interest raised regarding Vance’s background on any boards…so I thought I’d come here.

Vance started out at Sidley Austin. Q specifically notes Sidley Austin as being of importance in drop 238. The firm admitted to doing surveillance work for the Chinese since 2018.

What is of greater concern to me is his stint at Circuit Therapeutics as COO, when the company got 2.7 million in DARPA funding in 2015.

Times of India chose not to name the firm in this article about Vance’s time in Silicon Valley. Which is…concerning. He kept pitching the firm to Peter Thiel and Mithril Capital while there.

Circuit Therapeutics received money from DARPA for its research into optogenetics and neural control via light technologies. Seeing as DARPA recently funded a UC Berkeley research project trying to create an implant à la Neuralink that controls the nervous system via light, and considering how Q has shown DARPA is bad news bears, I would think Vance’s involvement in this company would be a bigger deal in these circles.

His wife also worked at Munger Tolles while they represented Buffett when he was giving a money to the Gates Foundation. Usha worked there while Munger Tolles represented the Sandy Hook families
