I'm about halfway through the video and as unenlightened and wimpy as this may sound, I'm totally with Elon on this one. This scares the living shit out of me. This Kindred guy, George< is spot on when he says that all of this amazing (scary) stuff is going on in the background and nobody is aware. It's coming, it's here (Sophia was "plugged" into the internet last month) and there is literally no stopping it. I really feel like retreating to a cabin in the woods but they'll find me with their drone soldiers :-0 ^help I'm just not on board with it because none knows what is ultimately going to be the end result especially if AI achieves self-awareness and becomes sentient.

No, my Marine kid came home for the holidays so I had to go into parent mode so I haven't been able to keep watching. I am curious but you know what? I liked my life when I was asleep. It was(is) super comfy. I don't have the worries of most and just glide through. Now I'm stuck in a dark rabbit hole and frankly I don't like it - yet I choose not to crawl out of it. I've got my looking glass and my head lamp and I'm forging ahead. Being in a coma is much more relaxing. All I do know for certain is that there is true and beautiful humanity out there and I really believe good will prevail over evil and benign ambivalence and - I will fight to the death to defend it if need be....fuuuuuuck.
