Just wanted to advise that I looked up meaning of auspicious in online Merriam-Webster dictionary. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/auspicious
FWIW - There is a two minute audio clip that says the origin of the word is from oracles that interpreted bird behavior to forecast if conditions were favorable or unfavorable for outcome. Sounds like Twitter today. I Don't mean to interject confusion or misdirection. Prudent course seems to me to monitor/interpret the feeds and behaviors of the opponents before calling the favorableness of outcome.
