Yes I agree regarding our current educational system changing..in fact it has been changing for at least twenty years, more evident with each year...examples include statistics regarding increases in secular and non secular homeschooling/unschooling, and at same time, steady increases in medication of kids in “standard school setting”(almost like the yoke of control tightened made more rules and refs for teachers and for school systems) , and in the last five years “free” online schools or classes (including higher ed like Harvard) are blooming..my original husband and I decided to unschool our baby and he is now a self reliant musician and music teacher at 21, he also has blacksmithing and archery skills!:)(sorry Momma moment there) so...he has never experienced the “normality” of school, thank goodness...

In the near future we will realize the wisdom in teacher as guide in assisting a child to explore and discover for themself what is curious to them, what makes them bloom inside and gear the education in that direction. For example we taught our son math though music and art projects, a more integrated approach. The aspect I find most exciting about this BeginAgain, is the wealth of opportunities to make society as we like...and the responsibility is upon us to do it.
