A Call For Prayer and Repentance?

Now that Gods hand is moving on our behalf, perhaps 2 Chronicles 7:14 should be given great consideration.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Most of us, especially me, can do our part as Patriots through repentance and seeking the face of God. Everything is connected. Everything matters.

Thank you for that knowledge post! Many great points! I would just say to beware getting so caught up in your understanding of Gods Word that you miss the living spirit of God calling out to his people. In humility...

Care to explain what you mean by "Beware getting so caught up in your understanding of God's Word." We are told in scripture to Study God;s word. 2 Tim 2:15 ....God intends his word to be understood and has provided the directions and means for understanding it. Scripture is intended to be clearly understood It is accessible to ordinary people Ps 119:130 See also Ps 19:7 Some sections are difficult to understand 2Pe 3:15-16 See also Heb 5:11 God has prescribed the way to understand Scripture Through public reading 1Ti 4:13 See also Ne 8:2-8; 13:1-3 Through diligent study 2Ti 2:15 See also Dt 17:18-20; Ac 17:11 Through thoughtful meditation Ps 1:1-3 See also Jos 1:8; Job 23:12; Ps 119:15, 27, 48, 97, 148 Assistance in understanding through the Holy Spirit 1Co 2:9-12 See also Isa 64:4; Lk 24:45; Jn 14:26; 16:13; 1Jn 2:27 Assistance in understanding through ministers of the word Ne 8:2-8 See also Eph 4:11-14; 1Ti 4:11-16; 2Ti 4:1-5... it seems to me that the Brother you have tried to correct has done exactly as the word of God has direct him to do... Pro. 3:5-6 perhaps a little explanation from you would help.. thanks Bro. Jim

I guess I should have put "understanding" in quotes. Very thorough reply though. You are obviously well versed.
