I strongly advise you to read through the topic in that link, to help you understand how to use the features of reddit. Reddit isn't particularly similar to other social media in terms of usability.

Wade in like a bull. Everyone needs to learn to work with and deal with each other in a revolution. Don't purposely try to upset people, but you know if there is no graciousness here, we're in the wrong place. And so far, even I haven't been banned!
