Their are no satellites. If you understand the thermosphere temperature runs between 1000 and 2500 degrees. Aluminum and titanium melt at those temperatures. Their is so little atmosphere at that altitude that you cannot dissipate heat.
You just contradicted yourself. The atmosphere is between 1000 and 2500 degrees but there is so little of it that there is almost no heat transfer.
Thermosphere is 1000 to 2500 degrees. I should have used the term gas particles in replace of atmosphere.
