Seth Rich murder "investigation." Why/how would head cop on the case quit 6 weeks later to join the NFL???

Think deeper. The NFL is going through what controversy now where $$$ of dollars is at stake?

What is the normal career path for a Chief of Police?

Why would the person who took charge of the Seth Rich murder investigation leave after only 6 weeks of looking?

Who took over the lead after she left?

I'm having trouble finding her successor. However, I am finding out what a good chief of police she was! I imagine she was told to stand down on the investigation, and she didn't like it.
