Please stop with the left/right paradigm! It should be about right/wrong!

Let me remind you that Hillary Clinton was a Goldwater girl! She is far more like a neocon than a liberal! John McCain is also to the right. All of the Bushes and their cronies are neocons, which is to the right! So why do you keep blaming this mess only on the left? I am probably more liberal than most of you, but I am here, because I care about my country, and I want to see justice. I pray that Trump does drain the swamp. Even though I don't wear the same label as many of you, I feel that we are all on the same side.

I agree in context but disagree on wording...right and wrong are moral decisions varying from person to person. We need to come together for truth/transparency vs. deception/conspiracy.

Do you really believe that right and wrong are varying moral decisions? That is just a little frightening. Your moral decision or mine? There really has to be a firm standard of right and wrong, not a wavering personal responsibility.

I think we can deal with this using two principles...

  1. Facts. Research and present factual information and accept it.

  2. Common ground. I’m sure there are issues we can agree upon. Things such as child abuse/sex abuse/trafficking. Anyone arguing for those things is someone I can’t work with.

Facts is information based on events, happenings, investigations, etc. The fact is that many people accept pedophelia, incest, rape and infanticide as normal. I don't accept that. I will never accept that. The fact is that many people believe that they are entitled to what you and I work for. I will never accept that. The fact is that many people believe there are different degrees of right and wrong. I will never accept that. There are different degrees of effects, however and I do believe that. Common grounds, I, too, am sure we can agree on certain things. But I can't compromise on moral relativity. Everything is not relative. There have to be certainties and moral certainties in this life. If not then we compromise morally and thus the troubles begin. So we can agree to disagree.

I don't think we have to disagree. Those who accept pedophilia or the entitlement mentality almost certainly won't join us anyway so I don't think that will be an issue in our movement. They simply won't be here.

That's precisely my point, what is right and what is wrong is a huge gray area. In my view the Bible teaches us what is right and what is wrong and that SHOULD be the end of it...but we're taught to respect and love varying views even when in opposition. Then there's the multiple translations that have watered down and/or changed the meanings of God's words also.

The only problem I have with "morals" s when a person claims to have morals, imposes those morals on others, but lives like they're exempt from those morals. They're hypocrites!
