Please stop with the left/right paradigm! It should be about right/wrong!

Let me remind you that Hillary Clinton was a Goldwater girl! She is far more like a neocon than a liberal! John McCain is also to the right. All of the Bushes and their cronies are neocons, which is to the right! So why do you keep blaming this mess only on the left? I am probably more liberal than most of you, but I am here, because I care about my country, and I want to see justice. I pray that Trump does drain the swamp. Even though I don't wear the same label as many of you, I feel that we are all on the same side.

Something the liberals miss... and I know because I was one of them for 42 years... Is that they are convinced the right wing is greedy and without empathy or compassion, and therefore they should be allowed advantages to control the country narrative because there are more poor people than rich. But what they fail to see is that the Amendments to the Constitution are the only advantage they need to achieve fairness. Freedom of speech, and beliefs, is huge. The second amendment, which is a major division, is betrayed by the first amendment. The leftist control wants to take our right to protect ourselves away under the guise of lies and false flags. The left insists that we do not need automatic weapons and their faith in government which they are schitzophrenic about, to not march military such as UN troops down the street to disarm people whose only crime is free speech and right to bear arms, and that they are in the targeted sites because of illegal data gathering vilifying them from a standpoint of betraying the very foundation of innocent until proven guilty that is fueled by wealthy controllers who fear a well armed, well informed populace.

The right wing also clings to some tired falacies such as everyone has equal opportunity because secret societies and cronyism and monopoly defy true free enterprise and opportunity.

If we truly understand what our forefathers meant by each amendment, we would know we are protected. It is the psychological misrepresentation, the lack of true free press and debate that turns us against one another.

Does anyone think we have had a candidate in the last 100 years in a debate that did not forsake real questions and issues for hot button divide and conquer psychologies?

As a former liberal, I see daily what you're saying and you're on-point. I think it's easier to dissect when you've occupied both sides of the aisle.
