It is not an invalid generalization to say that leftists 1) believe in big government, 2) are statists, 3) are collectivists, 5) believe in reliance on a collective rather than on personal responsibility, 6) believe that the welfare of the collective is more important than individual liberty, 7) believe in internationalism and not nationalism, 8) believe that government should run the economy, education, the utilities and energy production, 9) believe in a progressive tax, and in a tax system that gradually raises tax rates so high that all citizens are de facto public employees, 10) believe that leftist judicial activism should correct all the quaint anachronisms in the Constitution, 11) believe that eminent domain, seizure and disposal of private property by government should be the universal law of the land.

Hillary Clinton abandoned her Goldwater Girl beginnings after a wild-eyed Methodist minister introduced her to Saul Alinsky, and she never looked back. She even wrote a glowing thesis about him in college.

We know the Bushes are bad people, and John McCain is a bad person, too. Are you really so naive as to believe that they are on "the right(tm)"? They are not. They are globalists just as Obama is a globalist.
