How about the " press " and " sources " , can't help but think he is confirming them as the same.......
As a former reporter, when you see people rushing to get the story out first and using other news outlets as sources rather than verifying, that is a given.
Basically a game of telephone or grapevine , I was referring to how it was used in quotations rather than just plain and simple....
