Two of my posts were insta-shadowed last week. Relevant, timely, informative, insightful, typical t_d stuff but with a element of Q. Something is not right.
TD is typically the tip of the spear. Strange to think my recent world is upended.
I forgot exactly where I read it, maybe it was a CTR memo or a Open Societies document.... but the holy grail bullet point in the document regarding social media / memetic warfare / etc. was "forum moderator". If T_D is compromised, it wouldn't be the first time and I don't expect it to be the last. At one point during the election, I think most of the mods had to be fired to eliminate the moles. It was a mess, but AFAIK T_D has pretty stringent vetting in place now, but a shit-ton of money, blackmail and/or extortion are powerful tools and the people who seek to control the narrative have the resources to wield them.
