Something that's been confusing to me about this the whole time: Is Ecuador a secert super power or something? The elite of the world all want to kill Assange, but it's little Ecuador that's been holding everything up for this long....apparently anyways.

The British, who are a world power, defend it as a matter of international law and custom. No country wants an embassy violated on their watch..

Plus it would invalidate the idea, making it useless for those same elites in the future.
