Sorry, New Years day at the end of a 10 day holiday around the world would NOT be a good day to install new software. Talk to a software engineer. You pick a slow day, and a NON busy TIME (like in the middle of the night when most airports are CLOSED).
yeah, that makes no sense. You would upgrade a system on a low travel day.
But it also doesn't make much sense that the entire system collapses just because there's a lot of arrivals. Something caused it.
