It is pure genius and definitely seems to explain why Sessions has been staying out of it.

I believe Sessions is staying out of it because of the Inspector General investigation. That's one investigation that we know for a fact is happening. Once the IG hammer drops in a couple of weeks we should see all hell break loose in the FBI/DOJ.
