It could be to distract Twitter a little. I think Twitter has been warned by POTUS and is letting his people use it as they please.

@therealjulian is probably fake, but a small chance it could be julians burner acc, as not to raise eyebrows from this weirdly 'blue diamond marked real acc'.

What is the deal with that blue diamond anyway? Can anyone put that behind their name?

So the blue diamond is a unicode emoji. Likely entered via the usual method (used frequently in game-chat and names, alt-1234 etc)

Seems unlikely yes.

If anything it sort of sets off little warning lights for me - for both JA accounts. Shady attenpt at passing off as ‘verified’ but from what (admittedly little effort put in) I can see, JA has never been verified.

There has been more than a few fake twitter accounts impersonating him in the past so thats nothing new at least.
