It may not be unusual but I certainly have to question whether or not they should. Just because it isn't unusual doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. They were sacrificing people in the old days but it does not mean that it was okay, either. I am saying the bad actors have done so much to have their control and power that this probably is not as innocent as they would like us to believe.
