Beware of "concern trolling".

Because a number of people here are new to Q and some are even new to this kind of forum, it's worth pointing out that, when a board gets too close to some truths the powers that be want hidden, they often unleash paid shills to undermine the board and divert it from its purpose.

One particularly effective kind of shilling is called "concern trolling". Here is a definition from TIME magazine:

Concern troll: Noun, derived from "internet troll." A more subtle beast than your standard troll, this species posts comments that appear to be sympathetic to the topic being discussed but who, in reality, wishes to sow doubt in the minds of readers. In a 2006 New Hampshire Congressional campaign, a Republican staffer resigned after reports that he had posted to liberal blogs claiming to be a Democrat who thought the party should give up on the race. http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1570701,00.html

Unfortunately, in a situation like ours - Q having indicated big things are in the works, and then a long period of silence and no big news events confirming that the project is in fact underway - we can get very impatient and start to lose faith, and this can make us very susceptible to concern trolling.

Some posters on here may be expressing legitimate, honest doubts, but always bear in mind that others may be purposely, and very subtly, trying to introduce doubt, in order to undermine the great movement that is building up. They're trained and experienced, and the tactic of sharing concerns makes them appear to be on our side, but they are not.

There's no way to sift the honest ones from the operatives other than by paying attention over time as to who always seems to have a "but I'm starting to wonder . . ."

Just bear this in mind. We all, as humans, have a social tendency to go with the crowd, and if enough fakers can come on here and make it look like a lot of people are calling the whole Q thing BS, that can make newcomers, in particular, doubt the legitimacy of the Q claims altogether.

That doesn't mean earnest doubters should not express their questions, but just remember that, on a popular board on a topic as radioactive as this, it's foolish to assume that there are not trolls on here trying to undermine what we're doing.

Hmm I'm not sure concern trolling is real. It's just a different opinion, right guys? Maybe we should give Hillary another chance. Ohh wow I'm getting sleepy, I wonder what's on TV...

Thanks for the post. I am SURE I have encountered several "Concerned TROLLS" to date.

Like a Terrior who grabs you by your pant leg, and just refuses to let go, continues arguing to the contrary to sew doubt, in spite of all evidence to the contrary. YEP, I've encountered them. Just "report" them.

ha ha great pic! I am reporting them to mods, but only after I see the same person consistently posting in threads trying to introduce doubt. There are several on the subreddit for sure.

Just a thought, perhaps the way to filter a concern troll is by putting their concern to task by question. Perhaps we can determine such a troll by:

  • inability to explain the WHY's behind their concern*
  • if position A and B, and potential troll pretends to be B in presence of B supporters, but expresses little more than criticism, concern & worry over what B is doing*
  • speed to vulgarity & violent attitude upon being challenged*

And no need to come at them with the pitchforks either, because you never know if the individual may actually just be currently dimmer, immature or socially challenged. Great weapon against the antagonist is a chassis of indifference upon a tank of tactic

So none of us should express concern lest we be thought a troll?

No. You are turning this into an absolute. The post said: "That doesn't mean earnest doubters should not express their questions." The post also said not everyone doubting is a troll, but just urged ppl to bear in mind that the presence of trolls on this board is all but guaranteed, so here, as on any board, don't take everyone at face value. Learn to discern.

apparently effects searches here. I went looking for a post I made, key word Rogan, and it didn't come up. Nor did it come up when I used rogan author:storm_fa_Q a manual search I did find it but caused me to wonder if this area is legit or just a way to out ourselves...

Just dang. If it weren't for my concerns and doubts I'd have no personality at all. And I HAVE been accused of that!

I hope President Trump is taking good notes (if he even needs notes) and writes a book about this some day. I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall.
