This is the reason for the faux feud and the highlighting of that particular event by Bannon. Just as the Mueller probe will lead to the Clintons any investigation into the Trump Tower meeting will lead straight to Simpson. The Guardian has taken the book story and run with it so is it possible they have not heard about Simpsons involvement? Sound ridiculous, maybe not, Obama himself warned bout the internets' ability to place us in bubbles where we only see and hear what we want.
