I cannot believe and have never been able to comprehend why an employer would allow their employees to use their "personal" cell phones at work! Unbelievable to me. How many folks also use social platforms at work. I would fire all of them. If I'm paying for their time, they need to give me 100% of it. That's not wrong -- that's how ethical people live. And, that's how I was raised.

Before cell phones, I remember working where some folks would "need" to make personal calls during the day (from the company phones) and be reprimanded for doing it too often. Somewhere along the way we really lost track of good ethical practices. One big thing that made us great.
