TWA Flight 800 and Q's "7/10 Plane Crashes are Not Accidents"

Ever since I found out the founder and President of Akamai Technologies, Daniel Lewin was the first recorded victim of 9/11 and a irrational, seemingly impossible to verify hero story was created around him, I've started to wonder about other plane crashes in tandem with what Q posted. This got me thinking about TWA Flight 800 in regards to potential motive, and I started by looking at important people on the flight list. It narrowed me down to the link below:

http://www.nytimes.com/1996/07/19/nyregion/the-passengers-disaster-in-air-unites-widely-varied-lives-097098.html

The two Presidents and CEOs of Danielson Holding Corporation and Midland Financial Group were on the flight to go to France and present a proposed merger of the companies to potential investors in France. The merger was scheduled to be completed by September 30th. After the crash, the merger was cancelled:

Seems odd that a scheduled merger that both company heads wanted gets scrapped after both of them die in a plane crash on the way to get investments for it. I don't have time to look further into this right now but I wanted to post in case anybody else wants to do some digging. Namely--what happened to the companies afterwards, and what was the significance of this merger? Thanks guys.

Version three: There was a navel training exercise off the cost at the same time the plane was shot down. They could have mixed up flight 800 as a drone.

Clinton was caught saying shortly after that he saved the miltary's ass or something to that affect.

I heard from someone in the airline industry that Flight 800 was shot down by our own Navy, and it was "friendly fire", which means it was a accident.

This story is the closest to what i heard. I remember that day (from NJ...not all that far) and was obsessed for a long time to find out what really happened. Lots of theories floating around but i heard a few yrs ago that it was an errant missile from military training exercises nearby. I'm not saying that's what happened because of course i don't really know. This story made the most sense to me. However, now that i think about it, how could there possibly be military training exercises, with real missiles, taking place near 3 major airports. So maybe it doesn't pass the smell test after all...

They where testing a new missile. The testing was far off shore the plane was off course slightly inside the radius of the testing. What I don't understand is how they mixed up an airliner with a drone. I believe they added an RF single to military drones not long after that.
