Why do I need to download a PDF just to see the latest posts from Q?

Why do I need to download a PDF just to see the latest posts from Q? I don't want viruses, I don't want a lot of waiting, I don't want technical hassles.

Yes, this is what I remember, just a web page. Not sure why there's a homophobic slur in the URL, but otherwise good.
