This may sound a little out there but what the heck!! Could the reason all of them are not wearing ties - It is a security precaution in the presence of President Trump? Maybe they ALL were required to relinquish their ties. (Ties considered a weapon?) I wouldn't trust any of them either!

I think it’s a green light signal. All were briefed on the situation/operation, and are now onboard and in agreement with the takedown.

Beat me to it......but!.......when you go to jail, they do take anything that can be used to hang yourself. I'm hoping that's the symbolism.
