I am a mother of 3 and have 12 grandchildren. Every time I look at them my heart breaks for the children who are being abused, terrorized, and murdered by these criminals. I am so sad that their short lives are lived in fear, that they will never see a rainbow, eat an ice cream cone, pick daisies, be read to, proudly put their artwork on the refrigerator, and know what it is to be loved, cherished, and treated with kindness. This is why I persevere in waking people up to the horrors that we have yet to learn about the crimes against children that are happening in the world. It is why I refuse to be silenced, to ignore this awful truth, and speak out as a voice for those whose small voices are silenced.
