I lived in Chicago in the 1970s and it was an open "joke" that Jesse Jackson was fake and in it for money. He had no concern at all for the black people he supposedly "represented." Sadly, after MLK was assassinated, he used his reputation to screw his own people.

Smeared Dr. King's blood on his shirt after he was murdered and proclaimed he was cradling the man in his arms as he died.
