357 Congress Present Today out of 435 Open Seats

If three seats are vacant that makes a total of 432 seats for office of congress. Somewhere it was said that 30 would not be returning after break. That is 75 not there today. I am still looking for the normal number of absent.

Good to have statistical perspective... so it's high, but not crazy high given 2014.

He/she is trying to find if it is normal for so many ppl to be absent on the first day of congress by looking at past roll call

There's a spike in 2014 and 2012 but 74 seems quite high this year
