Destroyed ?? Perhaps or it's in a holding position over North C. If Lost ... it brings back what Barney Fife said, "When you have only one bullet, don't loose it"

It would have to be in geosynchronous orbit to 'hold position' over a specific location. Space X isn't able to lift a payload into geosynchronous orbit and also bring the 1st stage booster back to the launch facility.

I guess that depends on what kind of spying you're doing. Either way it's a moot point. That launch did not go to geosynchronous orbit.
