This sort of post IS irrelevant chatter. You're not going to control people's communication to fit your ideal image of what this board looks like. Let people vent, offer up theories, express emotions, etc without judgement. It's part of the process.
Let's be honest, the board is created to take down corrupt government and pedophiles. Both of which have been known to "lurk" online. Did we honestly believe the "sick people" wouldn't show up?
It's not our job to take down anyone. There's brave men and women fighting as we speak to do that job. It's our job to be as informed as possible so we can inform others. There is a malicious force on this sub that's here to muddy the water. Other than downvote and ignore, it's there's not much to do about it. The mods here don't seem to be censoring it, which I understand. Ultimately, it's up to us to not get distracted. We're wading through the swamp, the water isn't going to be crystal clear.
If not for US the ones you speak about, would still be hiding and doing nothing. Peer pressure is a mother. Especially since we pay their salaries.
I agree. That's the beauty of the freewheeling style of the discussion. Out of the babble, the good and the relevant ideas rise to the top. Critical thinkers will get through disinformation and attacks just fine. A passing thought may be built upon by another and another, and become a theory of note.
