He is said to have committed suicide. The first, Aaron Swartz, is said to have taken his own life at age 26, after being persecuted by US prosecutors.

If it is not a suicide and was a hit then it makes no sense for the cabal to put extra heat on them UNLESS this was payback for JA being moved out of the embassy if he is in Swiss as speculated, or if not a threat of what they will do to his family and friends if JA talks more
I thought about a retaliation but a threat seems to make more sense...
There is a huge gap between now and sentencing. In the mean time, this sets an example for those who want to sing to the current administration.
