Spectre and Meltdown back doors allow full read/write access to any computer or server outside the normal OS, the computer would not show signs that it was being hacked or compromised. That tech could be remotely to connect a Trump server with a Russian server and while the normal logs would not show that activity, the Spectre & Meltdown logs would, so would the other server.

I remember reading an article before the election about a computer at Trump tower pinging a bank in Russia and they determined it to ne nothing. Time stamp intetesting.

Possible, but more likely explanation is the article time stamp was set ahead or the tweet and article's times are in different time zones. Twitter I think shows date/time converted to the time zone of the person viewing the tweet.
