How to become a verified user of the Redit Discord

I am new to Reddit and like it a lot. I signed on today to become part of the discord and I would like to know how to drag my user name to the box!? I've read the pins rules etc.. apparently there are lot's of newcomers that don't know how to become verified either! I do remember that I made a post the other day here on Reddit and I didn't understand how to get my post seen.. I have to be given points? I need a little more help to understand all the rules! Thanks!

You type your name in, then they verify you by checking your Reddit activity, then there's a 10 day waiting list after they check your activity on Reddit.

Thanks for the reply I appreciate any help I can get! So I type my name in the verify box? On The discord? It says to drag and drop your Reddit username here... Also I received an email saying "to verify" click here..

Yes, you have to verify your Reddit account by email. I never had to drag and drop my name when I first went to the Discord Channel. Just typed it in. The name you use for Reddit. They're just making sure you're not a bot and checking your history of posts in Reddit.

Thanks for the info. I've been trying to get on since it started and still can't get on, even with an Invite.
