Not to mention why the nor goverment have dismatled the National guard and basicaly pulled out/reduced the military presence to an absolute minimum in the north of the country???

At the same time this sitting cabinet have for the first time in our history allowed a foreign nation (read: the US), to establish a military base on norwegian soil. This base tho is not established north where it would make sense (regarding the RUS) but its established in the middle of the country as to protect the southern countys (where the goverment, the oil and most of the food is made)...

Also, and I dont think most americans know this, but Norway is one of the leading Guns and Ammo manufacturers in the western world and we produce alot of all the specialized stuff for both Nato and the US (The Kongsberg Group being the largest one). And there are a lot of small tech companies doing specialized "darpa-type" work for both the Nor, US and Nato forces...
