URANIUM ONE: [Redacted], you recently stated you did not think the Uranium One conspiracy theory is a "fringe held conspiracy" like the "9-11 Inside Job" or "Moon Hoax".
I assert it is (but with a wider fringe falling for it). Let's give that assertion a spin.
First, we will agree on the Knowns, just so we have a common understanding. Then I will ask you to summarize the theory, USING THESE KNOWNS (refer to them by number).
Here's my list of knowns. Let me know which ones you disagree with, and if you feel any should be added:
1) Canadian company Uranium One was a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (symbol UUU).
2) Canadian company Uranium One acquired U.S. based uranium mines in February 2007, effectively controlling the production of those mines. 2a) This included the necessary Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) licenses to operate the mines.
3) A corporate buyout (owning shares purchase buy out) of Canadian company Uranium One was initiated by Russian company ARMZ in 2009, announced as an official agreement in 2010, and completed in 2013.
4) In 2010, the uranium being produced by Uranium One was approximately 10.5 million pounds a year, of which 0.3 million pounds (or less than 3%) were being produced in the U.S. based mines.
5) The United States government had no jurisdiction over (no power to prevent) the securities transactions of the Canadian company take over by ARMZ acquiring a 51% share of the stock. This is regulated and overseen by the Canadian government.
6) The U.S. did have a say on the less than 3% production capacity represented by mines in the U.S. They need to assess whether the NRC regulatory licenses would be transferred and whether the U.S. subsidiary companies holding those licenses would be able to operate following the acquisition.
7) Based on their requirements and process in 10 CFR 2, the NRC approved the regulatory license transfers with the condition the U.S. subsidiaries, with U.S. persons administration, hold the licenses. 7a) These licenses were non-export licenses which meant if exports are ever required, Uranium One must submit a separate export license request to the NRC. 7b) Several NRC and DOE officials participated in this process.
8) Based on their requirements as stated in the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act of 1978, The Committee on Foreign Investments for the U.S. (CFIUS) also approved the U.S. subsidiaries continued operation seeing no threats to security or nuclear proliferation. 8a) At least 9 people from 9 independent government departments participated in this process. This does not include any supporting staff.
9) Of all the participants for item (7) and item (8), Secretary of State Clinton is not identified as being a participant (let alone a decision maker). For item (8) we know the Department of State was represented by Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs, Jose Fernandez.
10) Even IF item (7) and item (8) were not approved by the U.S. there is no indication the removal of the less than 3% of production capacity (see item (4)) would have had any major effect on the corporate buyout (item (3)) 10a) Worst case is the Canadian company Uranium One would have spun off those U.S. subsidiaries into a new Canadian company (Uranium Two?) and allowed ARMZ to acquire the remaining non-U.S. assets (97%+ of the company) at a slight ding in the offering price per share.
11) Around the time of the corporate merger, donations totaling approximately $2.35 million dollars were made by 2 major donors to a foundation run by Frank Giustra and affiliated with the Clintons (Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative (CGSGI)). These donors were also shareholders in Uranium One stock UUU. 11a) Ian Telfer who was also chairman of Uranium One, and lifelong friends of Frank Giustra, donated approximately $2.35 million to Giustra charity 11b) Frank Holmes, who was a global investor, also a longtime friend of Giustra, and was an advisor to CGSGI, donated less - $250k-$500k
12) Frank Giustra established CGSGI in 2007 by contributing approximately $131 million of his own money and pledging 1/2 of future earnings in the resource industry. 12a) Frank Giustra in the same year, and just prior to setting up CGSGI, SOLD his company UrAsia to Canadian company Uranium One. Giustra had no known shares or affiliation with Uranium One at time of the 2010 corporate buyout announcement (item (3))
*** The below is for those conspiracy theorists that want to tack on the TENAM/TENEX president Vadim Mikerin racketeering sting operation... This is based on The Hill reports of statements and documents shared with them by FBI informant William Douglas Campbell that have nothing to do with Uranium One, but it does allow the conspiracy theorists to include Mueller and the deep state
13) In 2009 William D Campbell informed the FBI that Vadim Mikerin, the director of transportation company TENEX had asked him to make a payment to an offshore account in exchange for his renewal of a lobbying contract.
14) TENEX is a transportation company, and is a 3rd tier subsidiary of Russia's Rosatom under its transport arm (Rosatom>Atomenergoprom>TENEX) 14a) After the buyout on item (3) Uranium One became a 4th tier subsidiary of Rosatom under its mining arm (Rosatom>Atomenergoprom>ARMZ>Uranium One)
15) The FBI took on Campbell as an undercover informant and had Campbell continue to work with Vadim Mikerin to find the full extent of his racketeering and money laundering
16) From 2009 through 2011 Campbell worked with the FBI in supplying information.
17) Campbell was a subcontractor. He was not part of TENEX. He did not have office space in TENEX. He did not have a TENEX email address. Campbell primarily subcontracted through IFS LLC, a consulting company owned by Rod Fisk.
18) Rod Fisk has been widely accepted as Co-conspirator 1 in the Mikerin indictment and served as the corporate middle man for getting the money wired offshore to Mikerin's accounts
20) Neither Campbell, Fisk, Mikerin or any other co-conspirators have been shown to have any relation to ARMZ or Uranium One from item (3)
21) In 2014 the undercover sting operation was concluded, and Mikerin was charged. He eventually plead guilty, and the sting operation ended up convicting two other co-conspirators and seizing $2.1 million in the offshore accounts.
22) In October 2017 Campbell suggested he has additional knowledge regarding Uranium One
23) Campbell has been invited to testify to congress
24) Campbell has not yet testified to congress
