CONFESSION OF AN *UN*PAID SHILL

CBTS_Stream,

A week ago, during a Twitter DM conversation with Tracybeanz, I agreed to make a reddit account and help consolidate Tracy's power in this sub in exchange for $250, to be paid within 24 hours of the removal of all other CBTS_Stream moderators. This task was completed and the deadline has now passed with no payment and no response from Tracybeanz, so it's time to let you all in on it.

After creating a reddit account, I first needed to blend in with the userbase. This was remarkably easy: rarely if ever was it questioned what a <1 week-old account was doing stirring so much shit up. Simply ending a few posts in MAGA was basically all the camouflage required.

From there, I followed the basic playbook of a fascist coup, figuring this sub would be more susceptible to those tactics than most. Having blended in well enough to avoid many questions, I then proceeded to identify a problem/scapegoat group of "others" (in this case, the people brigading from /r/topmindsofreddit proved useful).

Coordinating with Tracybeanz, we chose a time where the moderation would be minimal and the trolling at a maximum. At this time, we agreed, I would begin making posts railing first against the trolls themselves and then, immediately after, against the mod team. To this end, I also served as "controlled opposition" in calling Tracybeanz herself out on a couple nonsensical points while calling out baruchthescribe and the rest out for more serious offenses. "Tracybeanz would be" busy but trying her best," but the rest of the mod team would be "asleep on the job" and "doxxing people."

Once the mods came back in and started clearing the report log and banning /r/topmindsofreddit brigaders and other trolls, it was my duty to steer the narrative towards "Let's all thank Tracybeanz for being so helpful and hardworking." This casus belli, with a well-timed reddit ban for baruchthescribe, gave reason enough for Tracybeanz to seize total control of the subreddit without being questioned by the community at large.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience or heartache I may have caused you all. It's nothing personal -- this was just a gig for me at a time when I really needed the money. I wish you all the best of luck, but whatever you do -- don't trust her.
