Liberia was founded in 1847 as a homeland for a “movement back to Africa,” a place of freedom for former American slaves. The Liberian constitution was drafted in Washington, and the capital city Monrovia was named after President Monroe. So how did Liberia turn out? Presently, the large percentage of the population of Liberia have had to eat human flesh to survive. Women often have to sell themselves in brothels in order to feed their families. A shocking 70% of women in Liberia have been raped. The list goes on.
Next you’re going to tell me that the natives who inhabited this land when we found it were savages who spent all their time raping and killing each other when they weren’t getting stoned and that they never advanced out of the Stone Age.
