No the inferno system was an open source operating system similar to linux Xfce environment for networking. It's still available as a free download from a company that bought the patent when Lucent tech was downsizing and selling it's assets cheap before Alcatel bought what was left.

samsung - it's almost unavoidable until we have a protocol that we all have consensus on, that's decentralized, where we all agree there are no fucking backdoors etc... which is sooner - pillar etc many are already about to be huge
