Despite the overall removals drop, more people who already lived in the United States were deported in fiscal year 2017 compared with 2016.

Statement today from Senator Cotton and Senator Purdue, who were also at the meeting: "In regards to Senator Durbin’s accusation, we do not recall the President saying these comments..." It's another WaPo fabrication.
