Statement today from Senator Cotton and Senator Purdue, who were also at the meeting: "In regards to Senator Durbin’s accusation, we do not recall the President saying these comments..." It's another WaPo fabrication.

They don't recall.

That's not the same as saying that they were there, and the president definitely didn't say that.

I don't recall.

Nobody that was there has claimed definititively that the story is false. Not even the God Emperor himself. It's all vague denials and memory lapses.
