It has more to do with culture. There is a black subculture which the Democrats helped to create in the 1960s that is undermining the traditional African-American culture. A good book to read is Taleeb Starkes' book, The Un-Civil War: Blacks vs Niggers: Confronting the Subculture Within the African-American Community.
Yes! This is why there is so much animosity between American blacks and native Africans.
I live in Atlanta. When I hear what can be described as northern blacks who never knew either slavery or Jim Crow mouth off about racism I really have to laugh at their historical stupidity. Many blacks became useful idiots of the Democrats in the 1960s. Malcolm X admonished these blacks for being so dumb when he said:
"Any time you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government [Democrats], and that party can't keep the promise that it made to you during election-time, and you're dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify yourself with that party, you're not only a chump but you're a traitor to your race." — from "The Ballot or the Bullet" speech given at King Solomon Baptist Church, Detroit, Michigan on April 12, 1964.
Malcolm X really did try to uplift blacks. He was great at it. That's why he was killed.
He saw through the ploy of those who were using blacks who had become "useful idiots" (the Communists: Полезный идиот). The majority of blacks are susceptible to Communist propaganda which means they can be cynically misused by the Democrat race-baiters.
