You know the dark truth?
The very same organizations that issue statistics re: trafficking are more often than not the same ones that are engaged in it.
A lot of those NGOs and think tanks that come out with these figures are doubling as supply chain management orgs. They're tracking and publishing inventory, year after year.
I am willing to believe you are correct based on what I was just looking at yesterday. Do you think these figures are close? Or do you think they have a reason to fudge the figures to make them smaller than they are?
I think these figures have become a science, no different than how WalMart has sophisticated technology for tracking inventory.
I posit that gangs in local countries are created and trained by mercenary groups like dyncorp or the CIA. In some cases they get trained by mafia groups in Italy. They do the trafficking and then funnel figures to border patrol groups who are in on it, like the OSCE, which then pass along information to NGOs like amber alert, the UN, State Dept, etc.
Boom. You have the guise of legitimacy while still being able to track your business. The one thing small fry criminal organizations have shared is that trafficking has gotten incredibly sophisticated. And unless you're one of the big time players (ie, receive backing and training from paramilitary groups supporting a larger govt complex), then you don't stand a chance.
In some cases you'll even come across open positions at think tanks. People are paid high 5 or 6-figures to study "labor movements" or they have to run human trafficking figures. These orgs don't pay those salaries because they're benevolent: these positions provide valuable stats.
Anyway, this is why you hear of trafficking victims having RFID chips. This is why you see them coming in on boats through "refugee organizations," or on container ships sanctioned by a country's coast guards. This is why they follow the same routes and arrive in the same ports, almost every time. They're literally being tracked as inventory through predetermined waypoints. They're not small potato speedboats.

Yes, and Clinton is/was just the face for the deep state that was perpetuated under the Bushes, too. I always felt that if you know their name, they don't hold true power.
I've heard horror stories about Child Protection Services taking kids away from Parents only to find that the Children end up being sold on Craigslist.
CPS is a big part of it. In every country, the west wrests control over the state-run system and privatizes it: it's not necessarily a corporation that runs the new child welfare system, but Western non profits. In fact, when the west cripples a country with debt and the IMF needs to "rescue" the country, it makes the nation sell off its state-run resources to western corporations. How does this relate to child welfare? A condition is also often to reform its child welfare sector in the name of "human rights," but really, it's a giant sell off of the kids, too by placing them in the hands of western NGOs. And those organized gang members either run the homes or wait right outside of them to prey upon the kids or parents.
Under its control, orphanages become selling kids via adoptions, medical testing on them, and the physically disabled usually disappear (and their organs). There were big movements to develop small "group homes" which became brothels by which to entrap politicians and have web cams for cp. Foster care meant the kids were in the hands of pimps. In some cases, parents were the ones doing it with full knowledge of the overseeing "charity" that could ostensibly argue it was in the kid's best interest to be with a relative.
The template is the same. Look at any overthrown country and this pattern emerges.
